1. Eid Clothing Support for Children in North Gaza

The Eid Clothing Support for Children in North Gaza project aims to restore dignity, hope, and joy for vulnerable children celebrating their first Eid al-Fitr after the 2025 ceasefire. Although the ceasefire has increased humanitarian aid, North Gaza remains the most devastated area, with widespread destruction, collapsed markets, and unemployment exceeding 80%. Many returning families struggle to meet basic needs such as food and water, making new Eid clothing an unaffordable luxury. For children who have spent years in displacement and conflict, wearing new clothes during Eid represents more than a tradition it symbolizes a return to dignity, normalcy, and emotional healing.

This project will distribute 1,000 Eid clothing sets to children aged 5–12 living in shelters, camps, or damaged homes in North Gaza. Priority will be given to orphans, children from extremely poor households, injured children, and those whose families have lost their main providers. Beyond meeting a practical need, the initiative aims to improve children’s psychological well-being, help them participate confidently in Eid celebrations, and reduce the financial burden on struggling families so they can focus on essential needs and rebuilding their lives.

With a total project cost of USD 60,000, the initiative also seeks to strengthen community resilience by bringing moments of joy and solidarity during a time of recovery. By ensuring that vulnerable children can celebrate Eid with dignity, the project contributes to restoring hope and reinforcing the message that life and community can continue even after years of conflict.
