Remote islands in Sabah face persistent water challenges, relying almost entirely on rainwater and bottled water shipped from the mainland. During the dry season—typically from March to September—these communities often endure severe water shortages due to the complete absence of piped water infrastructure.
Our water well projects aim to reduce this reliance by providing a more reliable and sustainable water source. Each well offers a long-term solution to help meet the basic water needs of these underserved communities.

Cost Efficiency Through Shared Logistics
The cost to construct a single well is RM25,000. This cost is based on shared logistics and applies when a minimum of five wells are constructed at the same time. Grouped construction helps reduce transportation and setup costs, making the project more viable for remote locations.
By supporting this initiative, you are directly contributing to the health, dignity, and resilience of communities in need.
Malaysia
Join us, a local NGO, in addressing the urgent water challenges faced by communities across Malaysia. So far, we’ve successfully built 21 water well systems that provide clean water to over 1,900 people in Sabah. Now, we’re expanding our efforts to Pulau Banggi, where access to safe water remains a daily struggle.
Each well costs RM25,000 to construct—an amount calculated based on shared logistics when building a minimum of five wells simultaneously. This grouped approach allows us to cut transportation and setup costs, making it feasible to reach even the most remote areas.
Nepal
In rural Nepal, we've tackled the clean water crisis head-on by installing 306 tube wells since 2022. This initiative has transformed the lives of 18,060 people, providing them with reliable access to clean water. Each tube well costs just RM1,200 yet the impact it brings is priceless — health, dignity, and hope for entire communities.
Sri Lanka
In a significant milestone for the local community, we has successfully completed the construction of its first deep well in Trincomalee on 23 August 2024. This project is designed to provide much-needed access to clean water for 10 to 15 families who have long struggled with unreliable and unsafe water sources. Each deep well costs RM9,000 offering a sustainable solution that transforms lives through clean, safe water.
Yemen
In war-torn Yemen, since 2019, we have strategically placed 470 units water tanks to serve 1,875 people affected by the conflict. These tanks ensure a reliable water supply, easing one of their daily struggles and helping them focus on rebuilding their lives. Each water tank in Yemen costs RM400, helping families store clean water safely.
India
In the districts of Uttar Dinajpur and Birbhum in West Bengal, families face a severe water crisis compounded by deep poverty. Many of these families belong to underserved minority communities with limited access to basic services. The lack of clean, reliable water affects health, education, and livelihoods on a daily basis.
To address this urgent need, we're installing borehole and hand-pump tubewells to provide safe, year-round access to water. Each borehole well can serve over 400 people, dramatically improving community well-being.
So far, we've installed 130 hand-pump wells and 1 borehole well in Uttar Dinajpur. Now, with your support, we aim to expand this life-changing work into Birbhum.
The cost of constructing a borehole well is RM900, based on shared logistics. This rate applies when a minimum of five wells are installed simultaneously, allowing us to reduce transportation and setup costs across remote locations.
Palestine
During the war, we have dedicated ourselves to the noble pursuit of bringing solar power to North Gaza to provide clean water for its people. With great enthusiasm, we announce the successful installation of 5 solar panels, a significant milestone in our mission to provide reliable energy to approximately 200,000 individuals.
However, our work is not yet complete. We aspire to construct an additional five solar panels to power water wells. Each solar panel costs RM94,000 and every contribution will have a profound impact on our efforts to bring clean water to those in need.
