Installing More Water Tanks Around Taiz Neighborhoods

The demands for the water tank are critical!

With a population of 3 million, Ta’iz ranks as Yemen’s third most populated governorate as well as the third highest governorate in dire need of water, sanitation, and hygiene services.

Taiz faces severe constraints in its water resources. Many residents of Taiz, including internally displaced persons, face significant challenges regarding water accessibility, resulting in insufficient water to meet their daily needs.

Addressing the water crisis in Taiz, the Itlizam Relief Society team on the ground installed 54 water tanks in Al-Tamdood villages and neighborhoods sponsored by generous donors, bringing the total of water tanks to 54.

Since its beginnings, providing access to safe and clean water has been at the heart of Iltizam Relief Society’s work.
